Greetings all,

I have recently moved to right on the border of Ontario/Rancho C. As I am delving into my frustrating job search of the IE, I am considering applying for some positions in downtown LA. How horrendous would the commute be coming from say the Archibald Exit off the 10 to Downtown LA? I am imagining it sucks and I shouldn't even be considering it but the job situation around my area quite frankly blows. Mapquest says about 45 mins to DTLA. I am assuming at least an hour and 30 w/ traffic if my job starts at 8:30am? Is it more like 2 hours?

look into the metrolink. it's probably about an hour or so, but at least you're not driving.

In my personal experience (having lived on 4th and Turner, and now in Archibald and Lemon Ave) I'd say around 1:30hr to 2hr.

Glad you decided against that idea. You would definitely have regretted it. Good luck with the search.
