We have been looking for a house since 2005 and getting frustrated. We haven't signed with a realtor and go back and forth between trying to buy a house at an auction or go with a realtor. Thoughts??
And does anyone have a realtor recommendation in the Temecula area? Someone with lots of experience in the area, nice, and very knowledgeable?

I do not know if Temecula has a REMAX OFFICE but if they do, i would sure check them out, I hear that Prudential Realty in Temecula is pretty good. Well if you are considering a bank owned property or foreclosure, you need the professional services for sure of a realtor, cannot buy one of those properties and not be represented, by a professional, they are the trickiest transactions to deal with. I would look around and the area you are considering, i would check out things on your own, and then get a realtor, or if you know of some properties that look like they may come up for sale, you can always try and work the the home owners on your own, but the paper work still has to be completed, by the pros.

My sister-in-law's sister-in-law (seriously!) recently bought a place here and she is very picky and very knowledgeable herself, so I trust that this person worked hard for them. I will DM you her info since we can't advertise on here. And I really think you've gotta get an agent around here, and don't use the seller's agent as your buyer agent...that can only mean one thing for you: over paying. Good luck!

Well, this isn't exactly an advertisement, but a personal recommendation from an agent that sold our home for us. . . .

I can personally recommend Margie Zamora as a real estate agent, she handled the sale of our home, and was just a wonderful person to work with. Friendly, calm, and always on top of things. We are the people that wrote the testimonial from the bottom of the page. She handles the Temecula Murrieta area, we were from Winchester, French Valley area nearby.

And yes - get your own agent. They will watch out for your interests!
