Hello everyone i am very glad to have found this message board. From what i have read this online community is a great source for information on topics such as the one i am about to present.

My name is Louie I am 25 and my fiance is 23 we are going to move out to SD in December. We have 3 Dogs (2 small 1 big) and are looking to rent. In total there will be three of us as our best friend will be joining us. We are looking for a 2bed. place in the range of 1200 to 1400. My only worries is that we have a lot of expensive stuff so an area that is somewhat low on crime would be optimal. My fiance and I love to go places and just walk around and see the sites, meet people, and browse the various malls and just relax to break away from our careers. Please help me out in trying to find a good fit for our lifestyle.

my fiance will be getting a job as a nurse and i will hopefully be getting a job as a pharmacy tech (if that does not work out i will be looking for a job in retail or security guard) our friend has recently graduated from a tech school for cooking in Los Angeles so he will be working in that field.

Luckily you have a lot of options.....until you said "dogs." That's a killer for some places. As for security and walkability, there are several areas that come to mind. What you need to answer is what safety means to you. Crime rates are easy to look up here on the Sherrifs site.

Retail and security guard jobs are hard to get. Security companies advertise, but rarely hire. These days they can afford to be picky, and having a CA guard card doesn't help anymore. Retail prefers to hire young kids, from what I've seen.

For sure it wont be easy to find a job but i'm sure i could find something. i have a significant amount of money saved up for the move. I could possibly be transferred from the retail job i have now into one of the companies stores in SD.
