What exactly does "turned out missing" mean?

Was a 16 week old puppy left outside overnight? Just to potty?

Never mind - just noticed this on a later post of yours -"If we get a new one, it will stay inside at night."

You've got to be kidding! A puppy (BABY) should never, ever, be left outside alone overnight, in fact, not at all. We have a serious common sense black hole here.

Please don't get another dog.

I agree as well, the wild animals are simply looking for a source of food, and that dog happened to be the tasty meal. Keep the dog inside, and he wont be a tasty meal. If people would rid the source of food for the lions and coyotes, there would be none of these problems.

When I first read the title of the post, I was taken aback and wondering what kind of crazy person would do such a thing, and then I realized it should have read "Something just killed our dog". On the one hand, I'm glad it wasn't a person, on the other hand, I am sad about the circumstances.

Guess that's what happens when people move into other animals territory. lol. Reminds me of people who live in Florida, "WHY OH WHY DID THAT HURRICANE TAKE MAH HHHOUSSE AWAYYYY??" Hmmm, maybe because you live where they come through 70% of the time. lol. Sad thing is they would probably put whatever killed your dog down....people are stupid.

Wow, that is sad, I love dogs. Them Mountain Lions are scary things, I think I would die of a heart attack if I came across one.

My sister who lives in the area was having problems with coyotes also. She stays outside with her dog when she lets him out, she said she doesn't feel safe leaving him out there alone. So sorry for your loss.

Last I read they are currently tracking 16 in the County. Just think about how many aren't being tracked.
