I always forget about this show but suddenly remembered.

Here in SD on our local PBS station KPBS, has a great show called Wonderland. The host goes to various areas around the County and meets with the locals, get some history and so forth.

For anyone looking at visiting or moving to SD, or are a local just wanting to learn a little more about some other areas, I highly recommend it! It will really make you feel happy to live here knowing all of this good stuff is around.

Noah Tafolla does a great job with Wonderland. I've watched dozens of episodes.

Jack Gates does a show called "Then and Now":
Jack Gates - Channel 4 San Diego

Jack shows old pics of San Diego and then recreates the exact scene today.

Havent seen Jack Gates but have always been a big Ken Kramer fan. I wondered what happened to him after he left NBC SD and it seems that he has a new home at KPBS as well.
Not much new though, it seems he has the rights to the pieces he did on NBC and kind of recaps some of those videos on the new shows.

Will have to check out the Gates videos, thanks!
