same here dude. ********** guy

I was living in San Diego last year and the water was cold as hell.

Now I'm stuck in Florida again.

Florida is honestly Hell's waiting room. All you need to know is all the golf courses (the preferred sport of the evil, after that is croquet)

can't wait to get back in the water. A couple week ago it was 64 in la Jolla, and I was chilled in a spring wet suit. Rash guard shirt only tomorrow!

I had the whole summer free last year and was looking forward to a typical SD summer at the beach and it turned out the opposite. I was pissed about that and now they are getting the summer weather I love there so now I am envious. I'm having some serious SD withdrawals right now, hope you all enjoy it. Hopefully it will last all summer and I can make it down for a visit.

Here's a pic of your old neighborhood ... North PB from Jan 2009.

Yeah, it turned around almost overnight. June ended, and so did June gloom. July started, and so did July Fry. It suddenly got HOT and humid. We had a record warm low temp in SD of 71F the other day. Last July, the average HIGH temp was only 65F, which was the third coldest on record. So this summer's lows are better than last summers highs. Crazy!

70? Keep an eye out for the hammerheads. They like that warm stuff. In my opinion more dangerous than a GW.

I don't think they are terribly common here...but it reminds me of the time I was riding in an ultralight plane along the coast of Sanibel and Captiva Island in Florida. I see this lady floating on raft reading a book and there was a HUGE (~8 feet)hammerhead swimming around the raft-she could have touched it is she wanted. Obviously it turned out ok b/c there was nothing on the news that night, but it goes to show you they are everywhere and we don't see them. Thankfully they mostly leave people alone. Seeing the water from that vantage point left me stunned at the amount of fish and sharks in that area.

I am soooooo happy, just got back from a trip up the coast and I'll be hitting the beach after work tomorrow afternoon. The 52 degree water is a huge reason I couldn't live in SF
