Hello,

My husband and I who are in our late 20s, born and raised in Los Angeles and thinking of moving to San Diego...we are bored of L.A. and spend most of our days just hanging out at home..so we were thinking of moving to S.D.!

He is an accountant and can easily relocate to another office in La Jolla, but im having a hard time finding work. I have my BA in Communication Studies and have worked mainly doing administrative work.

How can i go about getting a job?
What is a nice affordable place near La Jolla that isn't surrounded by students?
Are there good christian churches in San Diego?
What is life like in San Diego for a young couple?

any feedback would be helpful!

Thanks!

I can't imagine if you are bored in LA that SD is going to be any bonus for you. SD is smaller and more provincial than LA.

The only way to go about getting a job is to apply for them. I do think they are relatively tight in SD, especially in "communications".

Pacific Beach and Mission Beach are close to La Jolla and cheaper places to live.

What church do you go to in LA? SD has a couple of well known, larger churches like The Rock in Point Loma and Shadow Mountain in Granite Hills and there are lots of smaller ones, it just depends on what you are looking for.
