OB water temp 62. Feels like 62. The air temp indicates 62 as well, but compared to the water it feels 90.lol. as far as I can tell I'm the only person who swam without a wetsuit. I am now challenged to see how low I can go!

Love it! You are way tougher than I am! Just checked observations and it's now 60 at Mission and 59 at Solana.......Brrrrrr

Was a great summer for swimming, though, wasn't it?

It was the best summer for swimming! But then this is only my second summer. The best was after one of those horrible hot days where all you think about was getting in the ocean after work. One night after work, I went for a swim and the water was warm (well, 72) like glass, and very clear. At 6pm on a weeknight the beach was as crowded as a holiday weekend. the feeling of relief in the air for so many people made it a great SD experience.

59-60? now that's getting cold. my husband swam today, but didn't check the temps at the lifeguard station. I may try tomorrow as long as the suns out.
