I checked the report at LJ cove and they said 71. Bc the diving conditions were only fair, we decided to just go to the beach here in OB. And I do not think it is 71. Probably upper 60s if I had to guess. Still loads of fun, but there is a major current and some big waves so it's a workout today to swim.

Weather underground says 75. No way! I'm posting "real feel" as 68. Still well worth going in, not uncomfortable BUT not as warm as it was a few weeks ago.

H2O temp at La Jolla Cove was 67 degrees this morning. Zero people in the water at Children's Pool at about 10am. Lots of people in the water on the north end. Kayakers, swimmers, and SUPs.

I was at the beaches in Del Mar all day today. Water was perfect.... just a bit chillier than last weekend but still felt really great. I'm gonna hit the beach as much as I can here the next few weeks...

MB real feel was a reasonable and nice 68-69. Probably 68 is the skins comfort cutoff, with >=70 ideal.

I was swimming with the dogs at Fiesta Island and it was like bath water.

Was off work this week and spent most of it at South Mission. Water was perfect! I think this has been one of the best summers at the coast that I remember. It is so warm and humid I keep thinking I am in Hawaii, but not having to pay the airfare.

Went in today and it was cooler than yesterday, in fact I guessed mid 60's. This time I decided to try and confirm, so I checked out the board at the life guard station. 66! It's amazing because just 4 days ago, it was not the least bit chilly ( well just enough to be perfectly refreshing) whereas today, even after diving in it was very cool.
