Can anyone tell me how bad the fire situation is in Rancho Bernardo, in particular, off of Valladares Dr.? My parent's own a house on Valladares and the news information up here in Riverside County is sketchy at best. I've checked some of the webs sites, but their information does not seem to be updated yet. Any info. is appreciated...Thanks.

On TV I am seeing some specific addresses, you may be better off contacting one of the local civic, fire, or emergency agencies than posting here.

I tried calling the local departments in San Diego earlier this morning, but the non-emergency lines were all tied up- not unexpected, of course, due to the fires. I don't get the San Diego news up here, so I was hoping someone glued to the TV would have some updated info. All I know is the area around West Bernardo & Duenda was burning. Thanks for your quick response & help.

TV seems to indicate that city workers are in the RB area turning off water so there is a chance that the area is safe for the moment. Can't get specific addresses yet though.

300,000 people evacuated from San Diego due to the fires.

Has anyone heard about the Fallbrook area?
