Good morning.

Just wondering what is the most popular website to advertise a house for rent in San Diego. Our renter is leaving after eight years in my rental in North Park. I believe we used Craigslist the last time but things change so quickly on the internet, I was just wondering if anything is more popular now.

The problem with Craigslist is that you get a lot of flakes. You can advertise on Zillow and Trulia, and not get as many.

With the market as it is now, put a small sign with barely visible writing barely readable from the street on it. You will rent it quick. How much and what size is it? Know someone who is looking.
BTW its true CL has a lot of flakes but I dont think your end of that catagory is a real problem. The problem is for renters looking, getting scammed by people from out of state who know of empty homes and get people to send them money.

Once you put it on Craigslist with a picture, the scammers will pick it up, and copy it. Putting a sign out front is also a good idea, because some people will "pound the pavement" looking for a place. Just make sure that your sign and/or ad is very specific to weed out as many flakes as possible
