I must be one of the few people who dont seem bothered by this. Maybe I've adjusted to this type of weather. Loving every second of this beautiful, bike riding weather.
Did a nice 40 miler before the sun came out and wind up.

I am from Raleigh area in NC with family in SD. Once our dew point hits 64 degrees it is noticeably humid. But a little breeze and staying in the shade does help the comfort level.

El Paso is fine. Just don't come to Midland (unless you want to make it big when oil prices go up.)

Midland has nearly all of the problems that are driving Californians away from their state like a high cost of living, overcrowding, insufficient public services, poor schools, crime, etc. WITHOUT any of the benefits of living in CA except for the mild/warm weather and reasonable humidity.

Imagine paying the SAME as you still did in San Diego AND not having access to the beaches, mountains, good ethnic food, etc. and having to drive 4-5 hours to the nearest big city or pay twice as much as your normally do for flights out of SD.

San Antonio is good but I checked rents and they are sky high.

Tired so hard not to use the apartment A.C., but just can't stand the humidity and heat that builds up in my room so been using it pretty much all day and most of the night on weekends. Gonna be a huge electric bill coming up soon.

I'm an old guy. I biked about 16 miles around Mission Bay today. Didn't even break into a sweat but it still feels muggy.

My new 5" Fat Tire bike get lots of looks from the kids. The dads pull their kids off the boardwalk when they see me coming. Now if I could just get the free-form skateboarders to stay on one side.

It's tourist season. Typically 6 people will walk 6 across the boardwalk and either not have a clue or not care. Go early leave early.

I don't mind the '6 across the boardwalk' crowd. They usually move when I blow my musical horn. If they don't, I can plow thru soft sand with the fat tires.

It's the extra-long freeform skateboarders that scare me. These new boards have wheels that can swivel 360 degrees. When they practice their tricks, their loose boards can fly in the air in any direction.

And the dog walkers with the kite-string nylon 30 ft leashes. I ran into one of these leashes because I didn't see it. I dragged the kid on my right and the dog on my left. No one was hurt but I'm sure glad I carry a large personal liability insurance policy.
