The celebrated "Romero" family lives in La Costa.

They're guitarists.

Classical guitarists.

Pretty darn good musicians too. (Really good.)

There's a bunch of actors/directors/entertainers all over Sandy Eggo County.

Ok, I figured it out. Though he may not be from San Diego, he was pretty prominent here in the 90s and early 2000s

Jack Johnson

Ha, I always thought Jack Johnson was from San Diego as well being that his music is extremely more popular on SD radio than in other markets and he was always doing shows in SD.

I think Jack Johnson was from Hawaii but he did do a lot of shows here. I think we have a lot of the same culture here as Hawaii....weed and surfing

Ratt ?
Their first album "Out of The cellar" was a Classic. "Invasion of Privacy" album they everyone knows, came a year later and they really blew up.

The birthday boy in that video looks familiar, who is it?
Also notable, Dave Mustaine of Megadeth is also from San Diego.
And Stone Temple Pilots has its origins in SD.
