Seapoort Village with Pier Cafe
Seaport Village is a waterfront shopping and dining complex adjacent to San Diego Bay in downtown San Diego.
The Village contains several freestanding buildings in an assortment of architectural styles, from Victorian to traditional Mexican. It is designed to be a car-free environment, with four miles of winding paths rather than streets connecting the various buildings.

Thanks for posting the great pictures of San Diego!

Visited San Diego this past weekend because I wanted to see some places from my Navy/college days that after I retire next March and move out of state, won't have many opportunities to visit.

Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery with North Island and downtown San Diego in the background.

Old Point Loma lighthouse.

I'll always have good memories of the San Diego area. My first visit was in 1954, as a three year old child. My dad took my older brother and I on a train from L.A. for a San Diego visit. Don't remember much of that trip, except for the train ride, the lunch car on the train, Union Station, the Zoo, and taking a harbor cruise. Next time was for boot camp, then home port of my ship after "A" school. Then a return with a new wife for home ownership in Escondido for work and eventually earning my bachelor degree from SDSU. San Diego will always have a special place in my heart.

This taco truck was in Chula Vista, but it is representative of all of San Diego.
