Now we all like fine dinning but sometimes you're in a hurry or you just want greasy fastfood so this thread is dedicated to filling that need in the San Diego area. Which places are the best in San Diego. The rules are it must have a drive through and it must be what most people would consider fast food. Other then that it is fair game.

Making a poll.

Hopefully I didn't miss any but I probably did. It's hard to remember all those fastfood places.

Oh, I had a great one till I saw it had to have a drive-thru. But I'll put it in here anyway. It's new. Lalita's across from Petco.

My submission that does have a drive-thru - Panchitos on Pacific Highway across from the County Admin. Bldg.

As far as what is local in San Diego or that region, I'll say Rubio's, In-N-Out, and taco shops ending in "berto's".

For fast-food Mexican in a region with so many great hole-in-the-wall taco shops and sit down Mexican restaurants, I gotta say, sometimes, Rubios is really good. Their street tacos are a great, cheap lunch. And when I wanna be a high roller, their gourmet tacos are really tasty too.

Super Cocina is the winner here by far.

Well, I'm afraid I didn't see my favorite fast food establishment on this list. The Catamarran offers excellent and fast service, and I dine there often. I'm not very familiar with most of these establishments, however. I just moved to San Diego (La Jolla area) from Darien, Conneticut. I would love to visit a MacDonald someday.

You mean "CrackDonalds"

In-N-Out all the way! The only problem though, is the meat is so thin, you have to order 3 patties just to get any meat. Everything is fresh and much healthier at In-N-Out.

TJ or LA Mexican food which taste much better than SD's.

Carl's Jr, Famous Star wit Cheese, you get more Burger for your money at Carl's and they taste good.
