What's a "smart and final?" Just curious.

It's a warehouse grocery store, similar to Costco. It doesn't require a membership, and it's much smaller.

I am moving to Clairemont from Lv. We have a 3000sf home with a pool and jacuzzi with an awesomely large yard. We have 5 cars and 6 kids. We feel safe in the historic area of LV That we live in. Does anyone have any suggestions of How/where to start to find a rental that we can feel At home in? We have not rented in 10 yrs but as our kids are older we want to keep our lifestyle as much as we can.

Clmt.-Mesa Blvd. simply has no charm. In the area you're considering, it's just long blocks of apartments, so as one poster said, there's nothing to walk TO. Have you looked farther west? Things get better as you go that way.

Clairemont, Serra Mesa, Tierra Santa, Bay Park, or North of the 52 in La Jolla would match what you are looking for. Most of Clairemont is just boring but it's safe.

I live in Clairemont, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

To locate a rental, try Craigslist under "Housing", and put "Clairemont" into a search, and add whatever other details (price, etc) that matter to you.

craigslist: san diego classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events
