I think PB is better for young single people but there are a lot of college kids or recent college grads. There is not a young sophisticated professional scene there, La Jolla is wealthier and if you can afford to spend that much then people there will be more in line with your income level. Neighborhoods in and around downtown are also good for young professionals imo. If you go with PB try North PB or Crown Point, try to stay a little distance from Garnett Ave.

basically im looking for a nice condo/house for rent, possibly that has a pool or something.. from what im seeing, all the apartment complexes in PB are kinda crap, im looking for something luxury/upscale..

i basically want to live somewhere i can come outside, walk a few minutes, and see a lot of people/stores, go biking, etc..

Forget PB. Look at La Jolla and points north.

Default What about downtown SD?

Hey what about downtown SD? I live there and there are many things to do here too, as well as many of these kind of apartments you're looking for, with a pool, jacuzzi, gym, and everything close enough for outdoor exercising or shopping or movies... think about it! Good luck!
