The Oakland Hills is known as a very wealthy area in the Northwest of Alameda County. What Contra Costa County city is closest to this?

My criteria is:
Mountainous/Hilly
Rich
Close to a bad area
Easy access to freeways

Definitely.

But I was thinking Hercules.

The hills do extend into Contra Costa, but the hills there are quite different.

Hercules is closer to the Hayward Hills imo.

The Oakland Hills area is far more chic.

Lamorinda but it is not close to a bad area.

The area that encompasses Crocker highlands ,piedmont ,rockridge, Oakland hills, Claremont, The uplands,Berkeley hills ,Kensington and lamorinda are similar in wealth and education. Some are wealthier than others but Would consider most homeowners afffluent

I think the hills on the westside of Danville and Alamo also have a similar look and upscale feel, although a bit less urban and much warmer during the summer months.
