...and Oakland? I dunno...I've never been to Studio City but I certainly wouldn't spend every waking moment talking about it. I couldn't care less about a place that I don't own property in, haven't spent time in, and don't plan on moving to or working in....

Please tell us all why you are SO incredibly interested in a place you decided was 'too full of crime'. I live where your alter ego Doc claims to live yet I even haven't much to say about Oakland despite being from the region!

I do see shows at the Fox, and eat out on occasion there, had a few old boyfriends from there, yet I still don't have much invested or anything noteworthy to add about Oakland. Please explain yourself. Why are you here discussing Oakland (like your friend, Doc)?

PS...I for one, am certainly not "jealous" of you. I actually live where I say I live and don't pretend to be several people I'm not---that's just weird and very disturbing. I think you do need some help (even though you're not in least bit aware since you're mentally ill).

I'll also add that it's terrible that so many truly helpful posters here are reluctant to post anything anymore ...add their bits of knowledge from actual experience and such. The entire conversation seems to revolve around Oakland and it's problems nowadays.

Don't make diagnosis if you're not medically trained. I'm friends with sever Psychiatrists, if you and your pal Montclaire need referrals let me know, i've done enough Psych rounds during clinicals to give an accurate basic diagnosis.

Um. I actually have a relative (or two) with mental illness. You're not "right" in the head....but I know that you haven't a clue about it, it's not your fault...

It just looks like we all gotta put up with it and roll our eyes and IGNORE your posts. (I hope some of you will resist, btw) Complete waste of time and energy since some folks can't be convinced that there are actually nice parts of Oakland.

I've been ignoring him and accompanying aliases for a couple weeks now and frankly I don't see why others are giving him the time of day at all... Who cares what a troll has to say.

It's actually sad. Very sad. It gives a glimpse into the future of Oakland when people who live there don't care about the cities problems, and that's why it's been the way it is for over 40 years. Oakland will never reach its full potential, at least not in our lifetimes. People are too busy tearing each other down, and focusing on each other's differences, instead of how they can work together.
