I mean seriously, blame the transplants? 50% of the states population was not born here, and of the 50% that were born here, most of them are first generation Californians. So this whole native, anti transplant, wanna be movement really just looks sophomoric and silly.

Hey dude if you read my first post I'm saying I like the transplants they/you guys added some much needed LIFE here. everywhere else I've lived has been better than SF for example Los Angeles I had great friends there, one of my biggest mistakes was coming back to the Bay Area as a teen.

Thats cool and all man, but I read your post. "They raised the rents". How did transplants raise rent? Rent is high in SF because the city operates on a rent control policy, not because of transplants. Landlords are not allowed to dictate their prices in relation to the shifts of the market so they are forced to have artificially high rents to make up for the potential loss.

Indians don't count as transplants because they're not white... I mean duh. Anyone who isn't white is invited into SF You know, because SF is more socially aware and doesn't judge anyone on the color of their skin.

Oh wait.

Just want to say I'm not attempting to offend those whom that comment does not apply to. So if you're an SF native and that doesn't apply to you, please laugh with me. LOL.

I said that because everyone else blames the transplants for "invading" SF. I live near the Mission so I see how drastic it's changed, personally I don't mind it. SF needed change.

Who is everyone, no one who lives in SF is a native anymore. Are people running around pointing fingers at each other? It is just funny the only people I ever see complaining about transplants are people with too much time on their hands or kids. This is capitalism dude, you've got competition. And the native card isn't worth much if you don't have valuable skills for a trade.

All the native SF posters are complaining have'nt you read what they've been saying?

There are a lot of natives here maybe not where you work or hang out at but the southern and eastern part of the city are still a lot of natives.

Looking back at my first post it does look misleading and disrespectful to transplants I apologize I meant to say the transplants added LIFE to this city when looking at the Mission before and now. Native SFers might not like the changes the city has seen recently it but it's fine with me.

Almost all the posters on this board are were not born in raised in SF. Very few actually were. The population of SF is a very small portion of the bay area. The south east part of SF is one small portion of the city and arguably the worst. Most of the people from that area have fled east for a higher quality of life than they can have in SF. Lots of people are 'stuck' there.
