For a big city, why is San Jose so boring?

This is absolutely correct. We have an infamous poster here that clearly doesn't live here and probably hasn't been here in years but makes countless posts and threads about how boring and run-down the city is, and it's not. There will soon be a lot more residents living right downtown and there's a lot of sneaky good things to do. People see what they want to see and there's a lot of negativity, but overall, it's a really interesting time to be here.
