Never thought about using one of those. My daughter fills up a big bucket of hot water and dumps it down her windshield. Seems like that works pretty well.

I use a credit card in a pinch. Although I refuse to scrape my windshield in Florida. It's just wrong.

Never thought of using that either. All these handy dandy tips from our friends from up north. Hopefully we don't need any snow shoveling tips any time soon

I just use a few sprays of the windshield washer de icer fluid and set the defrost for the window area on full heat, takes about a minute to clear anything Florida can produce in the way of ice on the windshield..
Up north ? it can be more challenging

Looks like you might need a blow torch to melt that snow

I used go out a few minutes early and start the car and let it warm up.
Now I have a remote ignition system, so I just point the automatic ignition (unlocking system) toward my car, and press a button. It starts up, and the car has those seat warmers so it even does that.
