Moral of the story is living here=good, schools=a little behind. Coming from Chicago we found that ALL of the schools curriculum was "slow", no challenge at all.

Or they will tell you to look at a map and tell you stay north, east, west and south of these roads. So then i do that and it only leaves my with a little piece of the city that people say are safe. lol i just dont get it.....Its making me think twice now about moving to Sarasota with my daughter. Im a single father and im not rich so i cant live right on the beach....So can you guys tell me IS SARASOTA REALLY THAT MUCH OF A DANGEROUS PLACE TO LIVE . Ive lived in Tampa and Orlando most of my life and i felt safe there...I JUST DONT GET IT PLEASE HELP ME
Sarasota is no more of a dangerous place to live than TPA or Otown. You'll be fine. If you look to find an annual rental beginning in May, June or July, you can find affordable living near the beach too.

Thank you, but at least four (4) of those cars were only here to be worked on. Just the "old car" and the gray with the top up are ours.

Note: the gray car has already been transported to Florida, and is in storage, waiting for us to catch up with it.

The Chicago Public School District got a national rating of "2" on a scale of 1-10. 10 is the best rating.

Sue can attest to the fact that the first time we took the hardtop off the black car (99 ///M Rdstr) we didn't quite wait until it got up to 32*

We still have our impractical/unrational moments too
