We picked out a Subway Glass Tile for our Kitchen Backsplash at Dal Tile & the contractor price they quoted was close to prohibitive. The tile we picked was made/imported by reflectionsinglasstile.com and sold exclusively thru Dal.

Does anyone know a good and hopefully more reasonable place to buy subway glass tile?

Thanks again

We bought subway tile for our backsplash and put the glass mosaic tile in between as a decorative section across. We got it at Home Depot. I went to several places and got sample tiles and brought them home until I decided on one I liked.

I got my glass mosaic tile at Home Depot. It was about $12 a 12x12" sheet, but that's because it had little squares of silver metal (like stainless steel) in it. There were other, thinner sheets that were around $3 or $4 a sheet. Look at Lowe's as well.

Home Depot is always the cheapest on tile. NEVER on carpet, but great on tile. By the way, be careful if buying floor tile there because it can be irregular and is hard to set correctly.

Try Sarasota whole sale til, they are on 13th street, just off the US301 in sarasota or there is a great tile shop on stickney point rd just after the fire station and before it turns into clark rd, it's o the LHS as you drive from siesta south bridge. Both should be able to quote you great prices, and give dennis from american tile a call if you want some great quality workmanship, send me a dm if you want his number...good luck with the remodeling
