I hope you are all holding up during the tropical storm!
Tropical Breezes is within close walking distance to the beach and village.

As far as not hearing back, realtors get inundated with people down here on vacation and wanting to live here and call multiple places with no intentions of moving here. It isn't you, it's those people crying wolf.

I just want to thank you all so much for all the suggestions! We are excited to get down there this coming weekend. We found a reasonably priced room at Sea Spray Resort on Canal so we are staying there.

Our new idea is possibly renting a vacation home for a couple months and just store our belongings. With us not being in the area absolutely no one is getting back to us about homes we want to look at so we thought maybe we would have better luck already being down there. We found something reasonably priced out near Turtle Beach on the key so we may just go for that. DH said he could live with a tiny condo with a couple months but no more than that so it seems the best choice.

I didn't read this whole thread to see whether this was addressed, but we lived in Sarasota County (just moved to Manatee) and sent our kids to Manatee School for the Arts last year while living there with no issues...
