Baltimore Orioles vs Tampa Bay Rays spring training game -- Ed Smith Stadium, 1:05 pm.

Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- old Main Street in downtown Bradenton, 8 am - 2 pm.
Baltimore Orioles vs MN Twins -- Ed Smith Stadium, 6:05 pm.
Pittsburgh Pirates vs NY Yankees -- LECOM Park, Bradenton, 1:05 pm.
Pittsburgh Pirates Opening Day Celebration -- Darwin Brewing Company in Bradenton, 11 am - 10 pm. Live music 4 - 10 pm, kids activities, pet friendly.
Taste of Mixon's -- taste samplings of products of various Mixon vendors, wine tastings, grove tours. 11 am - 3 pm. 2525 27th St E, Bradenton.
Car Show -- Lance's Cruzin to the Hop car show at Bradenton's Hooters on US41, 6 - 9 pm.
Osfest Reggae Block Party -- live music, in front of Sarasota's Gator Club in downtown Sarasota, starts 6 pm.
Le Marche Bohemien Eclectic Flea Market -- art, vintage clothes, re-purposed vintage items, etc. Five Points Park in Sarasota, 10 am - 5 pm.
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center's Health & Wellness Expo -- exhibitors, free samples, etc. 9 am - noon.
Rubonia, FL Mardi Gras Parade -- Rubonia Community Center at 1309 72nd St E, Rubonia (between Ellenton & Bradenton), 12 noon - 6 pm.
Beertopia -- sampling craft & import beers, food dishes, wine bar, raffle, music. 6:30 - 10 pm, Gold Coast Eagle Distributors in Lakewood Ranch, $50/person.
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Sarasota Invitational Regatta Rowing Competition -- competitors from many states, free admission, parking $5. 8 am - 5 pm each day, Nathan Benderson Park.
Southwest Florida Heritage Festival -- homesteading skills, pioneer cooking, petting zoo, etc. $10/carload. 9 am - 5 pm, Crowley Museum & Nature Center, 16405 Myakka Rd.
Coquina Tides Arts & Crafts Show -- Anna Maria Island, north end of Longboat Pass Bridge, Bradenton Beach, Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Sun 10 am - 4 pm.
Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County -- 75+ artists, music, food vendors. Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Sun 10 am - 4 pm, Riverwalk Park in downtown Bradenton.
Siesta Key Crafts Festival -- folk art & more, food vendors, music. 10 am - 5 pm, Ocean Blvd in Siesta Key Village.
SUNDAY
Bridge Street Market --great farmers market option on Anna Maria Island, 10 am - 3 pm
Siesta Key Farmers Market -- Siesta Village Plaza, 8 am - 2 pm
Siesta Key Drum Circle -- just before sunset at Siesta Key public beach, everyone welcome.
Ski-A-Rees Ski Show -- 2 pm at 1602 Ken Thompson Parkway (behind Mote Marine).
Polo at the Sarasota Polo Club, Lakewood Ranch -- 1 pm, gates open at 10 am. Adults $10, children under 12 get in free. University Pkwy east to right on Lorraine Rd.
Joy of Jazz -- Venice Centennial Park at the gazebo, 2 - 4 pm, bring lawn chairs.
