The illegals are concentrated in certain industries like meat packing. But they killed a bunch of them during COVID making them work in inhumane conditions then a lot got COVID and died. There's news articles about this but I know about it first hand. These plants were in Ohio and Midwest. I don't think there are any around here. They literally treated their workers so bad they killed them. And this is supposed to be the USA. Government looks the other way because big business gives them campaign money.

Around here not many illegals. Most construction is Mexicans but most are legal. They live eight people in a three bedroom house so they can afford it. Same with Ukrainians. None of them will let me live with them so rent is unaffordable for me.

I forgot about that. Labor shortage now due to death.

Like I got COVID bad because I was moving furniture in the 100 degree heat and my body was already on empty. If you are working yourself to death or have health problems COVID can be deadly even though it's not much to a normal person. Of course the news doesn't want to talk about the illegals that were worked to death that on top of trump deporting them.

Meat packing at least the dude I knew in Cincinnati he was a white American worked his way up.to $30 an hour because you work inside a freezer all day for that pay. Which they replaced him with an $8 an hour illegal. In case you wonder how a job can kill you. Imagine you get COVID and forced to work inside a freezer. Other people in the plant don't work in the freezer but generally it's a hard job that doesn't require education and pays well but not anymore.
