I've wasted my time going to these public hearings before. Even if you pack the house, and have overflow outside in the halls and parking lots, it won't matter at all.

Don't waste your time. The developers pay off all the politicians, and local officials, so it will be built. The hoards that show up opposing it, might get a few more feet of buffer area, or more landscaping...no more.

When it becomes unbearable, move away.

Sounds just like my sub divisions board meetings. Waste of time. Everyone can complain all the want and they just go against everyone anyway and waste more money. I quit going.

Unbelievable the number of storage places. They just put a new one in on Jacaranda and Venice ave, south of the roundabout across from Publix. Now they need another a half-mile away?

Article is behind a paywall, so not sure where exactly they propose it. It all seems mostly commercial along there anyway, so not clear what 'neighbors' are opposing it.

The neighbors I would think are Hidden Lakes, Verona Reserves, Blue Heron, and the Waterford communities.

Here's my plan...

When it gets too crowded, I leave. I've done so many times.

I average 5 years per stop.

The key is buy at the right price so you can leave at will.

I hope these apartments are affordable enough for the working class.
Doubt that. Key point. - does it read - luxury apartments?
