Ice Skating at the Rink at UTC, University Town Center mall in Sarasota. Open Mon - Fri 4 - 10 pm, Sat & Sun 11 am - 10 pm.
THURSDAY
Sertoma Wine Fest -- 12 local restaurants & 12 local wine vendors serve samplings & tastings, fundraiser, 6 - 9 pm, Venice Community Center, $85/adult.
Veterans Day Event --- ceremony at the State College of FL campus by building 14, 10 am - 1 pm, 5540 26th St W, Bradenton.
New Beginnings Concert -- State College of FL Symphonic Bank performs, 7:30 pm, Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF, 5840 26th St W, Bradenton. Tickets $15/adult, $5/children.
FRIDAY
Free Music Friday Night Concert -- bring lawn chairs, Venice's Centennial Park by the gazebo, 7 - 9 pm.
Anna Maria Island Old Soldiers & Sailors Parade -- starts at Anna Maria Island city hall at 9 am, travels Pine Ave to the City Pier Park for a ceremony.
FRIDAY - SUNDAY
Siesta Key Crystal Classic Sandsculpting Competition -- 3 days of sand sculpting. Music, food vendors. Access for up close viewing: $40/adult event pass, $12/adult access 1 day. Hours Fri 10 am - 5 pm, Sat 10 am - 9 pm, Sun 10 am - 5 pm.
SATURDAY
Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- on Old Main Street (400 12th St W), 9 am - 2 pm.
Venice Farmers Market -- at the City Hall, 401 W Venice Ave, 8 am - 1 pm.
Summer Hours: 8 am - noon.
Symphony on the Sand -- concert on Coquina Beach by the Anna maria Island chorus & orchestra. 4:30 pm. Tickets $30 - $250 (VIP, incl gourmet meal & wines).
Suncoast Food & Wine Fest -- food samplings, wine tastings, fundraiser. Lakewood Ranch's Premier Sports Campus, tickets $95/adult, incl food, beverages & parking.
Cortez Stone Crab & Music Festival -- the Cortez fishing village hosts festival incl fresh seafood, live music, beer tent, kids zone, local vendors. Enter off of 116th St W. 10 am - 6 pm, tickets $5/adult, kids 12 & under get in free.
Suncoast's Largest Food Truck Festival -- east side of UTC mall, 70+ vendors, 12 - 9 pm.
Santa's Grand Arrival & Parade -- UTC mall in Sarasota. Santa arrives at 6 pm, followed by music, entertainment, Nik Wallenda's high wire lighting of Christmas tree, fireworks. 6 - 10 pm, free admission.
Veterans Day Ceremony -- Patriots Park in Venice, 11 am.
Sarasota Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony -- parade at 10 am, starts at Osprey & travels down Main to JD Hamel Park for 11 am ceremony.
Manatee County Veterans Parade -- 9 am parade in Palmetto from the Manatee county fairgrounds to Sutton Park for 11 am ceremony.
Manatee County Concert Band -- program "God Bless America" at 7 pm, Neel Performing Arts Center at State College of FL Campus, tickets $15/adults.
Downtown Wellen Artscape -- visul & performing arts exhibits, kids chalk zone, music. 10 am - 10 pm.
Wellen Park, Venice (North Port).
SATURDAY & SUNDAY
Sarasota Medieval Fair -- each weekend in November. Fair maidens, knights, jesters & more. Woods of Mallaranny in Myakka City - State Rd 70 approx 13 miles east of I-75. 10 am - 5:30 pm. Varied ticket prices, free parking.
St. Armands Circle Art Festival -- over 200 artists participating, 10 am - 5 pm.
SUNDAY
Lakewood Ranch Farmers Market -- Waterside Place, 10 am - 2 pm.
The Meadows Farmers Market -- At the Meadows shopping village off Honore, 10 am - 2 pm.
Wellen Park Farmers Market -- 9 am - 1 pm.
Polo at Lakewood Ranch -- 2023 season is over, back next winter.

The Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show -- free show, starts 2 pm, 1602 Ken Thompson Pkwy by Mote
Last show of this season.
Sundays at the Bay -- free performance by various artists at The Oval on the Bay, 4 - 5:30 pm.
Siesta Key Beach Drum Circle -- free event, people gather about an hour before sunset.
Sarasota Craft & Beer Festival -- beers, live music, food, 12 - 4 pm, 1837 Hillview St in Sarasota.
