After a couple months of putting my resume out there. I am supposed to talk with the owner of a nice restaurant that is looking for a new General manager. This would be the first restaurant on my list if I could pick any. We ate there twice when we were there last month and I told my wife " I would love to run this place" then of all the people who could have called , I about fell over when it was them. Last week my wife and I went out for chinese food , her fortune cookie said what are you waiting for , start moving today. My mother always said if its meant to be it will happen.
It is going to be a big pay cut but this is what we want. If it all comes to pass I will let you all know what restaurant I am talking about. I am so excited I know I wont sleep a wink tonight .

No we live in Nebraska, but we bought a home in Port Charlotte a few months back . It was just going to be a vacation home , however after a couple visits it is where my wife and I want to live.I lived in Miami and the keys in the mid eighties and worked for a guy out of Sanibel. I always loved the area but couldnt afford it. Now that realestate prices have plumeted we paid cash for a very nice home.So even though I will cut my pay in almost half , we wont have a mortgage and we both commute forty miles to work ( each way ) so the gas bill will be almost nothing. And we wont have to shovel snow. I also build these on the side.
Crossroads Customs I will have to change the story line a bit when we move.

Yeah , You wont be able to miss it . My location will never be a secret. When I'm not driving it I drive a bright yellow truck. Pink and yellow I am very secure with my masculinity.

Congrats! Great to hear your good news! We can't wait to hear where you're at either. We are from Wisconsin, and bought a vacant lot in Port Charlotte last February when we were down. We love Cracker Joe's, but can sure frequent a new hang out if you tell us which one you're at!! Can't wait to hear from you with good news. And let us know where in PC you are, maybe we'll be neighbors!!

Dude, those are awesome. I have never heard of such a thing, nor seen one, but I feel my future holds one.
