We are thinking of switching to Straight Talk or Cricket for our wireless. We do not live in the area, but have a condo in Sarasota. While we are there, this would be our only phones. Does anyone have any experience with Straight Talk? How is the coverage? How about Cricket?

If I go with a prepay, I would set it up auto pay. So that would not be an issue. I hear you on the customer service issue. Both Cricket and Straight Talk are horrible. It looks like the Cricket network is a little better for our needs, though.

I love my straight talk service it is awesome. The only quam I have is no android/touch phones available I am interested in. Any help with how I can use a good app phone with this service???? BTW, unlimited everything...talk, txt, internet, 411...absolutely NO hidden charges. For $45..$50.24 with tax...awesome. Can anyone help???
