running alone at night--any safe neighborhoods?? (Wilmington Island, Tybee Island: public schools, gated, price)

Our family (mom, dad, 2 young kids) is looking to move to savannah. We would obviously like a safe neighborhood with good public schools if possible. My definition of safe is where a female can run alone and unarmed at night (i do this all the time in our current neighborhood). We were looking to spend 300-400k on a house. Are there any neighborhoods like this?

The Landings, Isle of Hope!!!!!, Dutch Island, Tybee Island and all equally beautiful and safe to run in!! They all have LOW traffic and aren't really used traffic-wise by non-residents - well, maybe Tybee...but still VERY safe (The Landings and Dutch Island are gated)

Wilmington Island as well has very good public schools, a host of very nice housing in your price range AND -- paved running / bike paths throughout. I frequently see single females out running / walking their dogs alone after dusk in my neighborhood.
