Don't quite know how to make these two recommendations without violating TOS (advertising) but y'all know I'm not in their business. Had the occasion to come across the need for both of them in the past week or so.

Interior upholstry, leather seats, head liners, convertible tops, all custom work for cars: Brown 's on the west side right behind Guerry Lumber. Mr. Brown 60 year old man that started it when he was 19 years old and still at it. Took a tour of his shop and was amazed at the quality and price.

AAA Savannah serviced by a station on the west side. They do about 50 calls a day 24/7. Obviously you need to be a member of AAA but I got my truck running 20 minutes after I called. Well worth the cost of membership.

We have AAA because I locked my keys in our old truck so often. But you're right, they show up quickly and will fix a flat or start your car lickedy split. It is well worth the money.

However, I haven't tested their services in places where we have no cell phone coverage.

On that subject: a couple of months ago a guy owed me some money. When I tracked him down he replied he was in Augusta and didnt have service. OK? I asked why he didn't use a pay phone. He stopped, looked at me in a strange way and replied " Pink Caddy, when was the last time you saw a pay phone in the street? "
He got me. BUT I got my money later in the day.
