Out of any new chains entering the Southeast, Sprouts seems to expanding the most aggressively.

Publix has revamped its 29,000-square-foot prototype, and it is not in the trade area yet. You could have another supermarket or another specialty organic grocer in the trade area.

I visited Sprouts in Peachtree City the other day. I don't see anything special about it. It's got more of a "farmers market" than other similar brands. Produce seems pretty and fresh and prices OK but nothing you can't get at a well-stocked Kroger or Publix. The meats and prepared food bars (hot and cold) were typically WAY overpriced. It's just ridiculous to me what some people are willing to pay for an entree (like roasted pork) that they could cook at home for a fraction of the cost.
