My daughter is part of an amazing high school girl's basketball program. Not only did they just win their second straight state championship but off the court there is such an amazing culture and group of coaches that have truly impacted the course of my daughter's life - in a wonderful way. We would still go to games after our daughter graduates if we could - we love the program that much.
Anyway - since we are moving we wondered if there were any local girl's teams in Savannah we could check out? Despite not having a student enrolled, we would really love to find a team to watch. Especially since other than the Bananas we'll be pretty limited with sports.

I really get how you feel. We were really involved in our son’s high school sports teams, and after we moved, with no kids in school, we felt bereft.

Sigh... 12 years ago, Sol C. Johnson had a stacked team and the entire school was buzzing about state playoffs. Hosted the first round playoff game against Mundy Mills High and absolutely choked. Was so painful for me and all my classmates. The atmosphere was rocking in that gym.
