Stanley,
You need to check the weather report for the week you are coming. But when you do be sure to check the hourly as well as the daily. That high of 60 or even 70 can be devious. The mornings and evenings can be quite chilly.

Feb is very dry. The driest month of the year. (But it still can rain). Last feb was beautiful. But if the weather stays like it has been, it is a really a crap shoot.

I haven't been wearing shorts & flip flops of late, but I have been very comfortable for the most part. Usually jeans, a long sleeve shirt & a mid to light jacket is all I need all week.

I've noticed that Mornings tend to be colder than evenings.

"I've noticed that Mornings tend to be colder than evenings."
It's always darkest/coldest before the dawn.

"But when you do be sure to check the hourly as well as the daily."
Check the hourly forcast a week before coming down?
Hmmm...
I don't think so.

The rest I agree with...
Jeans/slacks, a long sleeve shirt, and you're good to go.
Save the jacket for late at night, or early in the AM.

JMHO

Layers. Most of the time the weather is not much worse than sweater weather, with a coat needed for the coldest/windiest time.

You're just going to be here for a few days. There's a thrift store, the GAP, Urban Outfitters, and a real outdoor outfitter a block or so from where you'll be staying. If you need something, you can buy it.

Great idea Ellie!
Less packing to do.
Heck, with the prices down at Good Will, on Sallie Mood, you could wear a differevt outfit every day.
And it prolly wouldn't cost you more then $5.00!
And when you're getting ready to head home, you can donate it back to the thrift.

For all you weather fanatics...we're getting back to reality for a few days. Highs will be in the 40's on Friday with lows near 20.

That long stretch of warm weather over the past few weeks was pretty unusual. Enjoyable, but unusual.

Sorry to have taken over your thread Bluefleas. Hope you will enjoy it here.

I thought I would pack sweaters, jeans and one med. coat. It's going to be really cold here tonight, tomorrow night and Friday night. I thought I lived in
Florida. Good will is a great idea. Thanks again.
