My family and I are thinking of relocating to the Savannah area.My husband currently works for time warner cable but he has a background in the hardware business as well.He also loves restoring classic cars. Is savannah a good area for these types of things? I am a Nurse (LPN) and I also have a background in early child care .So I dont think I will have a problem finding work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Flexibility is going to be the number one thing needed if you are moving to Savannah, GA. The medical industry is going to be a hit or miss. If I was you, provided you have the financial flexibility, I would first secure a job before moving, some of it is timing, other times the local hospitals are posting positions, but are not really hiring. Many doctors in private practice are actually beginning to leave.
