I was researching Google to find a drone for counting cars that park at my churches parking lot every Sunday however it kept sending me in circles
What are you trying to accomplish? You should be able to use most any drone to take pictures of the parking lot. If you know the official capacity of the lot, then you can focus on counting the cars that are parked outside of regular spaces, if any.
ok, but specifically I'm looking for a drone that could go up, take the picture, then send it to my smartphone with the cars counted. I don't want the manual stuff unless I have a need to go back and do some sort of audit.

I doubt a drone will do that for you. A drone may be a piece of the solution, but it isn't going to just give you the answer, for an off the shelf system anyway.

It absolutely could, but to the best of my knowledge (healthy in this area), no civilian application exists here in one package.
The hardware exists, but software would be the issue.
Its unlikely that the $$ would be palatable to your church.
You Millenenials and your reliance on hi tech crack me up....
How big is this parking lot that you can;t just count the cars on your fingers?...Maybe you should count the tires and divide by four?...What about count the parking places and then you just have to count the places NOT filled on Sunday morn and subtract?
Maybe if you hold services at Chavez Ravine and it's SRO, you need a drone.
