I just moved to Seattle recently. I love my apartment and its near some great shopping. However, there are way to many UW undergrads for my liking. I am by university village. Anyone have advice on where a mid 20s female can live? I am thinking I want to live on a bus line that goes past 8pm since I will be working near the medical center. Also, I want to be able to have a social life without to much hassle in getting out. There are some great places near where I live but it seems like the crowd is a bit older.

Anyways if anyone has some good advice. I am all ears. I am willing to consider paying up to $1100-$1200 for a place. I want to be around young professionals in their late 20s and early 30s.

Thanks!

You might want to consider Capitol Hill from 15th St. onwards and thru to Madison Park. There's some stunning views there and you could live close to the botanical gardens. That'd be really cool, and I really don't get the student vibe whenever I travel through or visit there.

You can also try more north, like around 65th or more east into the Windermere or Laurelhurst neighborhoods. It feels (I don't know concretely, but feels) like beyond the U village and beyond the intramural fields there really isn't a large student population.
