My husband is in the Coast Guard and we have the opportunity to be stationed in Seattle. I know nothing about the city! I have a 17-month-old child and we just want to live in a nice, safe area. Please help!!!

the nicest family areas are on the Eastside - not in Seattle

What can you afford - that will help us all determine better places for you to look

We should get $1000-1200 in housing per month. Any suggestions on some nice family neighborhoods would be so helpful. I don't know anything about the area. Thanks!
