One other thing to consider is the fabulous Bothell revitalization. They are redoing the downtown area and Bothell landing. Check it out: Bothell Landing - Living in Bothell (http://www.futureofbothell.com/living-in-bothell - broken link)

Thanks Galexa! I will check it out. I think Bothell sounds like a perfect place for us to call home! We have found some houses we like and I think this will be a great area for me to find a job once we are settled in. Thanks again everyone for all the help. We are looking forward to our move!

Kenmore is nice as well. Right next door and closer to the lake. Same school district and only about 15 minutes from Bothell.

Thanks Windride. We are headed there in about 3 weeks to look for a house to lease. My husband was looking at Monroe because it is smaller and not so busy like Bothell...I have yet to see the area so I am looking forward to going. Any suggestions on specific areas in Bothell or surrounding areas we should look into to?

pcbgirl99...I like what I read about woodinville. We are moving from a town that has about 500 people and my son's high school has less than 1,000 students. We are looking for an area that is kind of small so it will be an easier transition for the boys. I have researched and read so much now that I am just confused! This is such a big move for us. My husband is excited and I am just worried and scared. I just want to make sure we find a great area with lots of children that my boys can make friends with. My older son is very social and has a great group of friends here in NC and I am worried about the move for him.

I love Lake Forest Park, but it's not for everybody. It's got huge trees, which makes some of the houses there a bit dark. Also, it mostly has older homes, which is also something I like but not everybody does. It's in a good school district, it's a pretty convenient location. It's safe. Maybe a little boring for teenagers, but it does have an interesting shopping mall( which sounds like a contradiction in terms), but has independent eateries, community space with chess sets, free entertainment, etc. Good hang out space in the mall, very different than most malls.

Ira, thanks for the reply...I see you are a real estate agent so I know you are very familar with the area. What are your suggestions for us? I want the place we choose to not be boring for my teenage son and my other soon to be teenage son. We want kind of small town feel but lots of kids. Good school district. We want to lease a home. We would like to have 4 bedrooms. We are interested in a lease not more than $2,500 if that is possible. Thanks again for the input!
