Hello Abby,

Not sure if you have made a decision yet, but there are some amazing new apartments in the Juanita area. I currently live at the Ondine at Juanita Bay Apartment Homes and love it. The building is not in the main Juanita center, but it is across the street and is easy to get to. The area is a bit quieter than downtown Kirkland or Bellevue, as others have mentioned, but since you talked about having a dog that you enjoy walking through green spaces I think Juanita Bay might be the better option. I do not own a car and the only thing I miss living here is a comfortably walk friendly grocery store... I do bootcamp classes daily at the place across the street from the building and the Juanita center has 2 coffee shops, Thai food, 2 sushi restaurants (Oto is much better!), BofA & Wells-Fargo, Greek food, Mongolian grill, Chinese food, & Brix which is a nicer dining/wine bar.

There are definitely some very nice new buildings that have gone up in the area over the last couple of years, but the only one I can really speak to is the Ondine which is very nice. You can check the building out at Ondine at Juanita Bay in Kirkland WA - Studio - 1 and 2 bedroom apartments if you want.

Good luck with your decision and maybe I will see you at one of the bootcamp classes in the future! :-)
