This is just silly or from someone who has
lived in many different parts of the country. I have and one thing that I have learned is that the weather certainly affects people's moods and dispositions. Just see for yourself how people smile more on a sunny day than when it's cold and wet out.

Which is preferable to sunny and hot. A less intense sun angle and moderate temperatures all year is great.

I agree, in fact I become cranky when it's above 80. It looks like the next two weeks will try my patience.

Seattle's a cool place, but I only lasted 2 years there. I just about went crazy towards the end.

What neighborhood did you live in?

I currently live in the valley of southern California and it's been 93 to 106 degrees every day for the past 5 weeks. I might end up regretting this, but I would prefer overcast and drizzle over this. My car doesn't even have AC.

This "seattle Freeze" Phenomenon that people on this forum bring up, is quite interesting.

I have noticed that people within my workplace company tend to not say good morning or even bat an eye at me when passing by in the morning. They either look at the ground and pass me, take another route.

Same thing with my hiking experiences here in WA State, while passing by other hikers.

Some of them are nice and say "Hi" or smile at me. But what's strange is that if there is a female walking with a male, the male usually says hi to me, but the female companion usually ignores me or avoids eye-contact with me. That, or they think that I'm a foreigner from East Asia who doesn't speak English. Interesting...... LOL!

I loved living there for 27 years but eventually the cool, cloudy days wore on me enough that I needed a change. I still miss the summers in the NW but would never consider living there again.

This. I live in the SF Bay area and anytime I see 80+ forecasted I get the feeling of impending dread. When I see 60 & rain it's invigorating!
