Hi all. My family is thinking of moving to the Seattle area in the early summer. We currently live in LV and are thinking of relocating to Gig Harbor or Maple Valley. My daughter will be going off to college and my son will be entering the 10th grade. We were thinking about those areas do to them being great schools and sports.
I was wondering...are those high schools accepting of new students?
Are there any other areas that I'm missing that may work well for us? My husband will be commuting by air a couple of times a month, so I little close to an airport would be nice.
Thx

Hello....

I moved to Maple Valley in 2011, when my stepdaughters were going into 10th and 11th grades, respectfully. They had never been to any other school besides where they grew up in New Mexico. They had no problem acclimating themselves into Tahoma High School. One of them played sports and they did very well in their last few years of High School. They graduated without any problems and made lifelong friends even though they were only there for 2 & 3 years.

I would call Tahoma very accepting of new students and it is a great school.

Anything else you need, let me know.
