“Washington's stay-at-home order has been in effect for over three weeks now, and recent data on dramatic traffic declines in Seattle indicates that people are following the guidelines and restricting travel to only essential activities. A new study using data from the Kirkland-based traffic monitoring organization INRIX reported that since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, traffic in Seattle dropped 53%, the third largest drop of any major metropolitan area in the country. 29% of that drop in traffic happened before Gov. Jay Inslee issued a "Stay Home, Stay Healthy" order”.

Only 3 + a piece of a week since the "stay-healthy" proclamation?
We've been that way since Mar 09.
Redmond Way is quiet all day long.

It certainly has helped the air quality, even for around here. Day walks have been particularly enjoyable. I can't wait for the future when we're all driving all-electric vehicles. Or rather, self-driving.

We had a lovely drive on Friday....It reminded both of us what it used to be like on the Freeways. Languid and one can see a cop or two making sure everything is ok.

How things change....

Fully agree, it’s like when I first got here in 1989, feels like an overgrown village. Enjoy while you can!

I hope when all of the CV stuff is in the rear view mirror, a massive paradigm shift occurs and many folks continue to work out of their homes. Why not? I think the old brick and mortar approach to congregating people in offices is out of date and inefficient. Why use that the fuel, pollute the skies, put wear and tear on the roads etc when we don't have to!
