"Qureshi defined reinfection by two positive tests separated by an interval greater than 90 days after the initial infection resolved, as confirmed by two or more consecutive negative tests. He analyzed data from patients who received serial tests between December 2019 and November 2020."

There were some deaths due to the second infection.
There will be some deaths every year. The virus is going nowhere. There have always been deaths from flu and even cold every single year before covid was a thing. We cannot eliminate all risks in the world. It's not how life works.

My post was in response to the claim that a second COVID-19 infection is always milder. That is not true.

Maybe I should have said almost always. The % in that study are not even worth discussing.

Particularly mRNA. Most sicknesses I personally heard of are those who took the shot. Even fewer are of people who caught a cold or have weak health and so received a negative test. People much rather have covid than admit their health sucks. This is because fancy vaccine technology, designed to save the planet, is the new answer to address bad health.

The vaccines are the answer to a virus that has killed over 620,000 in the US alone.

At least the vaccines claim to protect you from getting it severely enough to require hospitalization.

We'll see.
There's a lot of confusion about antibodies and immunity.

My layman's understanding is that immunity either naturally (by having the disease) or by vaccination is not a function of circulating antibodies, but rather priming (teaching) your B-lymphocytes which produce antibodies.

Exposure to an antigen (eg, viral parts) causes your B-lymphocyte cells to make antibodies to counter that antigen. The antibodies eventually fade, but the B-lymphocyte cells remember how to identify and quickly make new antibodies when needed.

This does not support the idea that someone who has already primed their immune system with an infection would somehow get a more virulent case later, although the fact that this is a lab-created virus could be leading to anomalous impacts.

COVID is also a respiratory virus and the respiratory system apparently is a weak point in the body from an immunological perspective.

Authorities have lied and manipulated information from day 1 about this virus, so getting "reports" does not mean anything really. They are shilling the vaccination relentlessly and that in itself should be a warning. Giving people free lap dances for getting the vaccine does not inspire my confidence.
