Hi,

I’m planning my first Seattle visit. Staying at the Best Western in Pioneer Square. 77 Yesler. Is it safe to walk back to the hotel after a night game at T-Mobile?

Thanks.

I've never been uncomfortable with similar treks. Should be active with lot's of people on the street. Enjoy the game.

Until 2020, safety issues were exaggerated. Now, at least be cautious.

No issues.
If the timing is right and if you had not done so, do the Bainbridge Ferry (Bremerton ferry is a longer ride for the same view) for Seattle's night skyline or waterfront walk.
Lots of Chinese restaurants in Chinatown before or after game. or one of the seafood places on the boardwalk.

May there be no smoke or clouds on your visit.

Agree, as long as you stay with the flow of people, you'll be fine. There are a few dicey characters wandering around those streets after midnight, but doesn't sound like that is what you have in mind.

Is the Bainbridge ferry worth the trip during the day? Where is the boardwalk located?

Thanks for the tips.

^ yes. It's a relaxing 1.5 hr RT, depending on schedule. A boat ride is always fun. Like the Staten Island ferry. $9.05 RT under 65 yo. (one RT fare regardless if you return).

The ferry and boardwalk is about across the street from your hotel.

I made a trip today from the Eastside to your BW hotel to check out the area. Its been over a year since I been around this area. I am a male, somewhat familiar with the area (I like to see the tourists), and son lives off of Yesler. In any city you need to look & feel confident in what you are doing at night.

Boardwalk is made of concrete. It's the wharf walk along Alaskan Way (US 99). Very safe.

As you exit T-Mobile, downhill is west and towards the Sound, water. The Tall buildings is North, uptown.
Walk north (any street) to Jackson (E-W), then head west (left) to 1st or to Alaskan Way. If you know where the water and tall buildings, it's fairly easy to get around Seattle.

Yesler is the original, The Skid Row, logging road. Enjoy the game and stay. .
