On Wednesday night august 3rd 2022 my girlfriend invited me to see Black Coffee. The show starts at 7.30pm. The biggest question is where do I park my car. It appears that greenwood has no free parking. All of the greenwood private lots are expensive paid lots with tight parking spots.

I have parked in republic parking and diamond parking paid lots and gotten parking tickets even though I paid for parking. I also have gotten door dings for the tight parking spaces.

Is there anywhere to park on the street for free??

I heard parking at fred meyer greenwood will get my car towed.

Should I take an uber or lyft from my apartment in northgate seattle to taproot theater??

Im also concerned about getting my car vandalized in a diamond parking lot.

If you went early enough you should be able to park somewhere in the residential areas farther north. No harm in taking an Uber/Lyft tho. Seems like an ideal distance to bike or use one of the various wheeled rental things. Bike, scooter? I guess night times not the best for those.

But I’d just drive and try my luck.

Just tuck into a residential area a couple blocks from the arterials (85th and Greenwood).

Of course I’d park in a residential area. Literally everyone there parks daily… if there’s a spot, it would be as safe as anywhere else including a paid lot) barring the slightly increased chance of a car driving by scratching yours if the lane is very narrow.

Odds of anything happening would be very low. Park away.

Parking in residential areas is fair game. Just make sure you're not too close to anyone's driveway.

Why did you get ticketed when parked in a paid lot? Did you not display the payment stub on your dash?

It seems like you're flush with cash. Just take an uber and forget about it.
