Ohtani might end up becoming the greatest player in baseball history if he does not get injured. He just indirectly indicated potential for a trade (and trended big on Twitter).

The teams currently trying for Nationals superstar outfielder Juan Soto are the most logical ones to make calls regarding Ohtani, as they are the aggressive teams with enough prospects to give themselves a chance. The Padres, Rangers, Dodgers, Cardinals and Mariners are among teams in the mix for Soto,
Japanese people and baseball greats (e.g., Iwakuma, Sasaki and Suzuki) seem to love the Seattle vibe and weather.

Less than a 5 percent chance I am sure, and I do not follow rules on spending caps etc... But would be unbelievable if it were to happen.

Man, to be an Angels fan... that must be the worst. They have the 2 best baseball players in history on their team, and they're 15 games below .500, as usual.

Just shows how much it's a team sport, not a superstar sport like the NBA.

Jerry Dipoto, pay Ohtani's salary? Chances are zero to none. They may add another piece, but it will not be a superstar, just a decent veteran. Then we go to the playoffs, win the wildcard, and get beaten (again) by Houston.
