I've been doing some research on Seattle and Capitol Hill seems to check a lot of boxes for a vibrant neighborhood in Seattle. Any other recommendations? I like to go out and explore dining and drinking options pretty regularly and would also like an area with a good amount of singles.

Vibrant, entertainment options, and singles scene definitely points towards Cap Hill/First Hill. Broadway and Pike/Pine streets are the busier parts of the neighborhood, while First Hill (especially around Seneca Street) is a tad quieter, as are the 12th Ave and 15th Ave corridors.

I'd also recommend Belltown.

If you want something a *tad* bit slower pace, but still urban, you could look at Fremont and Ballard.

Ballard and Fremont would be good to check as well.

Capitol Hill is more for 20-somethings. I'd say Ballard or Lower Queen Anne for 30+-somethings.

That's a good suggestion, plus the rent is probably cheaper in those locations, than Belltown, lower Queen Anne, and Cap Hill.

I said it was "more", not only for 20-somethings. Especially the Pike-Pine and Broadway corridors. 15th Ave E and Madison Valley are more mature.

IMO
Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland.
Redmond (lower) is compact, good transportation hub, abundance of 6 floor apartments now discounted. Geared to older techs.
Bellevue is town center has high rise apartments, Good transportation hub. Compact. Perhaps a bit more expensive than Redmond or Kirkland.
Kirkland, smallish city center.

Capitol Hill, Belltown, and Ballard seem really cool. Capitol Hill would be too young for me? How about Belltown? I like the fact Ballard has a good wine, beer, and food scene. I'm not a late night out kind of person anymore. I quieter area wouldn't bother me as I could always Uber downtown.
